Die Trennung hat genehmigungsrechtliche Gründe, in der Praxis kann alles für das Hotel verwendet werden. Das Grundstück ist punkto Kanal und Wasser noch nicht von der Gemeinde erschlossen, allerdings hat es eine eigene Quelle am Grundstück. Im Moment führt eine geschotterte Strasse auf das Grundstück.

Die Einwohner von Polpenazze del Garda lebten früher von der Landwirtschaft, dem Anbau von Wein und Oliven. Noch heute ist die Ortschaft der größte Produzent von Olivenöl in der gesamten Region Valtenesi am Westufer des Gardasees. Außerdem kommen noch immer mehr als 50 Prozent der Weinproduktion der Region aus den Weinbergen rund um Polpenazze del Garda. Trotzdem ist auch in dieser Region der Tourismus mittlerweile sehr gut entwickelt. Weltberühmt ist die Gemeinde vor allem für die Reste eines Pfahlbaudorfes aus der Bronzezeit, die in der Nähe gefunden wurden. Diese gehören seit dem Jahr 2011 zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe. Diese Pfahlbauten beweisen, dass die Region bereits in der Bronzezeit bewohnt war. Ein weiterer großer Anziehungspunkt für Touristen aus aller Welt ist das Schloss von Polpenazze del Garda.
